Lisandro Valdivia Saucedo (He/Him/His) is a Mexican-American with ancestry from Aguascalientes, Mexico. He is a transfer student who spent his first two years at Durham Technical Community College, which led him to obtain his Associates's degree and the opportunity to transfer into UNC through the C-STEP program. Lisandro is now a senior at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill majoring in Management and Society. Throughout his time at UNC, he has been a member of Mi Pueblo's Comunidad Committee, serving a multitude of groups of people in the NC community. In addition, he is also a C-STEP mentor who provides support to incoming C-STEP transfer students adjusting to their new academic and social environments at UNC. Lisandro plans on joining Americorp upon graduation and, in the future, working at a non-profit which focuses on aiding those in desperate need.
