Angel Cruz Salvador

Angel Cruz Salvador is an 18-year-old advocate from Durham, North Carolina with roots in Mexico. He fights to increase diversity in higher education in his community through his position as a Teen Ambassador in the new program offered by the Emily K. Center, Game Plan: College. Angel is a part of over 9 extracurriculars that have exposed him to a variety of experiences, such as writing a letter of recommendation which helped students in Detroit, Michigan be accepted into Dartmouth University. Angel wishes to attend a selective university to study Civil Engineering so that he may advocate for Latinx and immigrant communities. Angel does not do things for the awards or honors, but because it is what he is passionate about.
