With roots in Mexico, Nayleny Banda is passionate about advancing educational and community impact. With a strong background in social work and community impact, Nayleny Banda brings a wealth of experience to her role as Impact & Communications Specialist at LatinxEd. Previously, she was a Program Assistant at the Hunt Institute, assisting with the organization’s State Legislators Retreat model. Nayleny also served as a 2022-2023 John M. Belk Impact Fellow with myFutureNC, where she helped advance efforts to close North Carolina’s educational attainment gap Nayleny holds degrees in Social Work from UNC Greensboro and NC State University.
