Latinx Education Summit

From all of us at LatinxEd, thank you to all our 2023 Latinx Education Summit attendees. You all made it another wonderful event of collaboration, connection, and community! Save the date for our 2024 Latinx Education Summit: September 11th-13th, 2024 in Winston Salem, NC!

The Latinx Education Summit is an annual statewide gathering of Latinx leaders and education champions focused on building collective action, developing new strategies, and mobilizing resources to address the educational challenges Latinx students face in North Carolina.

Over this two-day Summit, participants will learn about the current state of Latinx education in North Carolina and identify actionable steps that guarantee programs and policies are inclusive of the needs of Latinx children and families.

+ To listen, learn, and build community with fellow education champions invested in the future of the Latinx community and our state.

+ To present actionable steps for programs and policies intended to advance educational equity that includes the needs of Latinx children and families.

+ To collectively mobilize toward a new vision of what educational opportunity and mobility can look like for Latinx students and immigrant families.

+ To recognize and celebrate the education leaders advancing Latinx student and family success across North Carolina.

We believe the following groups of leaders will greatly benefit from the information being shared at our Summit:

+ Latinx education leaders working in schools, community colleges, college access university outreach programs, and/or non-profit organizations serving the educational needs of the community.

+ School and district leaders eager to contribute to and learn from conversations centering the needs of Latinx students and families in their local community.

+ Local and state policymakers with a desire to contribute to a conversation about the challenges and opportunities to advancing Latinx student success.

+ Community, nonprofit, and philanthropic leaders invested in the educational success of Latinx students in NC.

Thank You to our Summit Sponsors and Funders!
