Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, Dr. Abraham Luis Dones grew up in a diverse Puerto Rican and Black community that shaped his passion for education. With over 25 years of experience in K-12 and higher education, he champions organizational change to improve student experiences. Abe holds degrees in Industrial Engineering and Higher Education Administration, as well as a Doctorate in Adult and Community College Education. His commitment to education is deeply inspired by his mother, an adult learner and community college graduate.
