Biography

Annahi Cirilo-Gonzalez is a Community Outreach Intern at LatinxEd and a sophomore at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Originally from Hidalgo, Mexico, Annahi is a passionate advocate for Latinx communities and works to create positive change. She is pursuing a Nursing degree with minors in Health & Society and Medical Anthropology, and serves as a Pulso Scholars Program Intern at the Carolina Latinx Center, focusing on increasing academic and professional opportunities for underrepresented pre-health students. Annahi is also an Emergency Medical Technician in Raleigh and aims to become a diabetes nurse educator, with a commitment to addressing healthcare inequities in bilingual communities.
