Born in Cuernavaca, Mexico, and raised in Greensboro, NC, Yubi Aranda Sandoval is pursuing her master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at UNC Greensboro. With over 11 years of advocacy for immigrant rights and higher education access, particularly for DACA and undocumented students, Yubi’s commitment to the Latine community is at the core of her career. She serves as Vice Chair for LatinxEd’s Board and Development Director at Casa Azul of Greensboro, where she continues working to uplift and support her community.
