Kiara Aranda leads LatinxEd’s programs with a heart for expanding college access and success for Latine students across North Carolina. A proud daughter of Mexican immigrants and a UNC-Chapel Hill graduate, Kiara’s journey in education began with the Carolina College Advising Corps and continued as she supported students at the Emily K Center. Now, as LatinxEd’s Director of Leadership Advancement, she’s dedicated to breaking down barriers Latine folks face in higher education, equipping them to thrive and transform their communities.
