With roots in El Salvador and Honduras, Douglas Reyes is a first-generation college graduate and former college adviser who is passionate about expanding postsecondary access for Latine students. His background working with students of mixed immigration statuses drives his commitment to dismantling barriers to higher education. After receiving his Master’s in Public Administration, Douglas brings his experience as a John M. Belk Endowment Impact Fellow to his role, where he’s dedicated to learning from and advancing funding opportunities for North Carolina’s Latine communities.
