Yutsil Hernandez is the Assistant Director of Transfer, Fleer, and Graduate Admissions at her alma mater, Salem College. In her role, she draws from her own lived experiences and is innovating ways to help students of all ages and background continue their higher education journeys. A political science major, she uses her academic background to help advocate for legislative solutions for the issues at the heart of her community. She is above all, a firm believer in the collective power of community, and of our stories to effect positive change.
