Valentina Arismendi

Communications Intern- Storyteller

Valentina Arismendi (she/ella) is a Venezolana from Maracaibo, VZ. She immigrated to the US when she was five, settling in Orlando, FL. Now, she is a senior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill studying journalism and digital literacy. This past summer, she interned at Adobe for their education team, where she saw the potential benefits of the intersection between private companies and public schools. She now interns at The Hunt Institute, an educational policy firm in Durham. After graduation, she will return to Adobe's education team as a marketing specialist for their higher education enterprise. In the future, she hopes to continue her work in the education sector, focusing on the use of visual communication to enact change in public discourse.
