Stacey Diaz

School Counselor at Cabarrus Tech Early College

Stacey Diaz was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She moved to Charlotte to attend the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, as a first-generation college student, and majored in Psychology. She then earned her Masters in Education Degree and Specialist Degree in Counselor Education at Clemson University. She is currently a School Counselor at the Cabarrus Early College of Technology in Concord, NC. She has over nine years of experience working in K-12 education. Stacey has presented at the local, state, and national level on a variety of topics including supporting immigrant students, family engagement, community connections, and supporting Latinx student success. She is passionate about education and mental health. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and Zumba!
