Saul Rodriguez

Born in Mexico, Saul Rodriguez immigrated to the United States when he was four years old. A Golden Door Scholar and a Bonner Scholar, he currently attends Guilford College. Passionate about immigration issues and expanding access to higher education, Saul is a coordinator for Let’s Learn Triad, where he trains students to advocate for themselves, guides students through the college application process, and lobbies local representatives about in-state tuition for DACAmented students. He is also a coordinator for Soy un Líder at Guilford College, where he organizes a yearly conference geared towards helping students obtain a college education. Saul aspires to become an anesthesiologist and open a small clinic for people without access to healthcare.
