Rutben Cruz is a first-generation college student who is inspired by his parent's hard work and tenacity when they came from Mexico in their early teens. They had a vision for him to grow big and strong in America. Putting all their efforts into their children making sure they turned into productive members of society. Slowly but surely they've seen the success Rutben has brought forth by seeing that he does what he loves. Rutben enjoys spending time with those he loves. Spends most of his time serving the community through various clubs and organizations from his county and school, these being the 4-H organization, Juntos, the Student Government Association on the community college level, and last but not least his pride and joy Vision of Unity. Vision of Unity is an organization that provides medical supplies to third-world countries. Rutben handles most of the physical labor of the volunteer work but is part of the planning during meetings for future projects. Overall you'll find him working hard, living up to his nationality and background by endeavoring to maintain the pride of the Mexican people for being known as hard workers in any area of work no matter how big or small.
