Paulina Romero

Originally from California, Paulina Romero is a proud daughter of Mexican immigrants. A sophomore at Lee County High School in Sanford, she is very passionate about helping her community and learning. Passionate about DACA and family separation, Paulina has spoken out about the issues and continues to spread awareness about how they affect her community. Paulina plans to pursue her bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate degrees. She aspires to empower others around her, and to continue to be an advocate on important issues. She is grateful to everyone who has helped her become the person she is today and everyone who made this opportunity possible.
