Nohemi Ramirez is an Assistant Director of Programs and Services at the Belk Center for Community College Leadership and Research. Her passion for postsecondary education began while interning in the Office of the President at her undergrad institution, Biola University, where she worked closely with the presidential cabinet on strategic initiatives. Nohemi earned a Master's degree in Higher Education Administration from North Carolina State University. In her current role, Nohemi works closely with community college leaders through various Belk Center programs aimed to enhance student outcomes. Nohemi's interests include strengthening the leadership pipeline for women and people of color and as well as exploring the influence of interracial friendships on college students' cultural competency.
