Nathalia Diego Cruz

Born in Texas to Mexican immigrants, Nathalia Diego Cruz has lived in North Carolina for almost eight years and graduated from Millbrook High School last year. A current student at Wake Tech, she plans to transfer to UNC-Chapel Hill. Passionate about immigration, Nathalia has been involved with El Pueblo for over four years, lobbying Congress on immigration, lobbying local officials for in-state tuition for DACA, attending protests, planned the Death of Dreams vigil in Raleigh. Nathalia aspires to continue being an advocate for people of color and immigrants and disrupt the oppressive system.
