Maria Garcia was born in Venezuela in a beautiful city called Maracay. She is the oldest of three brothers, she María was born in Venezuela in a beautiful city called Maracay. Maria came to the United States in 2016 with her three children and her husband. After 18 years of experience as a mechanical engineer, she had the opportunity to connect with Book Harvest through her baby's participation in the Book Babies program. Maria fell in love with the program, not only because the program was beneficial for her baby, but also for her whole family in the pleasant moments of reading that they introduced into the daily routine at home. This spurred her to continue spreading the benefits of early literacy in the community, only as a volunteer in its early days, but now happily as part of the Book Harvest team. Now her dream is bigger, she dreams of a great learning path around countless resources available to all children and their parents.
