Lelah Cox

John M. Belk Impact Fellow

Lelah Cox is a student at UNC Greensboro from Durham, North Carolina. She is pursuing a B.A. in public health education. After graduation, Lelah plans to serve as a community health worker to improve the health outcomes and knowledge of Black and low-income communities. Lelah is a recipient of the Academic, Service and Leadership Scholarship from the Durham Committee on the Affairs of Black People. She is passionate about social justice as well as Black history and culture. Lelah hopes to use the opportunities and privileges afforded to her to support marginalized communities.
