Kehilin Azamar Pacheco

Kehilin Azamar Pacheco is a junior in Durham, NC. She's a young visionary who wants to do more to assist others when given the chance. She grew up learning responsibility and the value of being helpful because she was the oldest of three sisters. She is determined to make music her career because it is her passion. She is confident that by being part of LatinxEd, she will be able to help others as well as herself. She is proud of her Honduran and Mexican heritage. She loves learning about and sharing others’ cultures. She has a lot of dreams, and she's determined to figure out how to fulfill them. She seeks out new opportunities to have a positive impact in her school, her community and herself. She enjoys singing and spending time with her friends and family making time for everyone. She reads in her free time, works and sings in church. Kehilin loves animals and takes care of her German Shepherd, Kuma and volunteers at the animal shelter down the road.
