Jesus Enriquez is a first-generation Mexican American from a small rural town in western NC. He is a 2023 UNC Chapel Hill graduate where he earned his B.A in Public Policy and Political Science. Throughout his time at Carolina, he has excelled in his coursework and been involved with numerus organization such as the Mi Pueblo organization, the Carolina Latinx Center, and the UNC Honor system. During his tenure at the university, he has also supported multiple projects helping plan programs and event that include UNC’s Latinx Heritage month, UNC Alliance Book walk, and the Psychology of Work project. Post-graduation, he accepted the UNC Chapel Hill Chancellor’s Fellowship where he works under the Chancellor of the University and provides support and input on the projects that the university is working on. Enriquez hopes to pursue a career in higher education administration and provide support to minorities, lower income, and rural individuals.
