Jeremy Finazzo

College Access Coach

Jeremy Finazzo serves as a Virtual College Access Coach in LatinxEd's College y Consejos program. The youngest member of his family, Jeremy is a first-generation college graduate who attended Durham Technical Community College and completed both his undergraduate and graduate degrees at UNC-Chapel Hill after transferring through the Carolina Student Transfer Excellence Program (C-STEP). Jeremy has a background in School Counseling and Postsecondary Advising and currently works as an associate's level mental health counselor in his full-time role. Jeremy is looking forward to returning to his college advising roots through his work with College y Consejos, and facilitating new opportunities for growth between himself and the student community of LatinxEd. He is excited to be joining the LatinxEd team because he wants to provide options to students as they pave their own pathways toward the future!
