Jadah Smith

Director of Marketing and Communications at WakeEd Partnership

Jadah is young professional currently working in the education advocacy space. A graduate from the UNC Chapel Hill’s Hussman School of Journalism and Media, she uses her passion for design to impact her community. Jadah’s experience includes being the design and web development manager for a non-profit newspaper and a freelance designer serving local businesses. She has held several positions at the regional level of her sorority and has worked for a company that partners with K-12 schools to promote global education. As a native of Costa Rica, she proudly brings her cultura afro-latina and experiences to her work. She currently serves as the Director of Marketing for a local education non-profit, WakeEd Partnerships, where she helps serve public school students and teachers with much needed resources and career building opportunities.
