Isabella Sardina, 19, has embarked on a leadership journey centered around community development and urban planning. With an interest in equitable and affordable housing, Isabella is passionate about contributing to her community's well-being. As a member of a research group studying the consequences of housing programs, she is exploring solutions for this issue. Isabella's commitment to personal and professional growth led her to enroll in the inaugural class of the ECU Urban Planning Accelerated Master's program and become part of the esteemed Global Fellows program, focusing on globalization and intercultural communication. Her dedication to understanding global perspectives reflects her genuine desire to make an impact in a broader context. Beyond her academic pursuits, Isabella cherishes her Latinx heritage, being of Ecuadorian and Cuban descent. She finds joy in musical theater and embraces the opportunity to travel internationally.
