Fatima Nadeem

High School Senior at Davidson-Davie Community College and Davidson Early College High School

Fatima Nadeem serves as a John M. Belk Impact Fellow at LatinxEd. As a dually enrolled high school senior at Davidson-Davie Community College and Davidson Early College High School, Fatima is pursuing her Associate in Arts degree with a certificate in Paralegal Technology (Civil Litigation). As a second-generation immigrant and Pakistani-American from the South, growing up in both countries has sparked a love for learning about immigration. In the future, she hopes to work in a position that allows her to positively impact and fight for the rights of immigrants and refugees. Her involvement with interning at Burgos Law, volunteering to provide legal services to refugees with the North Carolina African Services Coalition, working with various state legislators, and more has provided her with the opportunity to further her passions. As a first-generation student, she is excited to apply for college and further her studies.
