In addition to her experience with LatinxEd, a college course she took highlighting the experiences of immigrants to America (GLBL-87H) inspired her to continue to do work with the LatinX community. She is passionate about the advocacy for the LGBTQ+ community, Black Lives Matter, the effects of immigration policies, and equitable education. She plans on pursuing a doctorate degree in Education Policy to elevate the futures of LatinX youth via educational attainment.
