Delma Ramos Ph.D. (ella, she, her) is a Mexican immigrant researcher, educator, and writer. Dr. Ramos serves as Associate Professor of Higher Education in the Teacher Education and Higher Education Department at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG). Dr. Ramos’ work examines the experiences of minoritized populations in higher education from an equity and social justice lens. Since her arrival to UNCG, Dr. Ramos has committed to examining and elevating the experiences of Latine college students in the Nuevo South, especially in response to the neglect and scarcity of research on the experiences of these communities in this region of the U.S. South.
