Bryan Mejia is a 1st Generation student working to complete a Bachelors in Psychology at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a member of the North Carolina Fellows program and First-Gen Lookout Scholars program. Growing up Bryan was inspired to pursue higher education by the never-ending support from his family and community despite the disparities affecting them. Now he is working with non-profits in order to empower students from similar backgrounds to seek enrichment and strive for all the opportunities historically held back from them.
